Once a club settles a fixture, your fee (plus any travel expenses you've claimed) is paid out automatically, there's no separate step where you have to chase or claim it. That only works once your payout account is set up.
1. Fill in your payout details
From your profile page, add your name, date of birth, home address and bank details. This is used to create a payout account in the background, entirely within the app, there's no separate site you get redirected to.
2. Under-18 referees
If you're under 18, a parent or guardian holds the payout details instead of you, or your club can settle your fees with your guardian outside the platform entirely, whichever your guardian chooses when you sign up. See the Safeguarding page for how this works.
3. Getting paid
Once a club pays a completed fixture, your share is split out and sent to your payout account as part of the same transaction, not a separate manual transfer later. If you've held an additional officiating role (like an assistant referee) rather than the primary referee, that's paid the same way, itemised separately.
4. Getting paid faster
By default, funds follow your bank's normal payout schedule once they arrive in your account. If you'd rather not wait, adding a debit card and using Instant Payout from your profile page pays out your available balance in around 30 minutes instead, for a small fee taken from the payout amount.
Why it's built this way
Referee payouts run through Stripe Connect rather than a single platform-held account. Holding and moving other people's money without being a licensed payment institution is regulated territory in the UK; Connect is what lets Stripe carry that burden instead of this platform, while you still never leave the app to set it up.
